Neurofeedback

Neurofeedback is a research proven way to improve brain function through intensive brain training exercises. It helps to promote the development of new, healthy brain patterns which can lead to more functional behavior.

Life is simpler when the brain functions more efficiently!

Treatment is noninvasive, and not painful, has no physical side effects, and the benefits are long lasting. Neurofeedback can bring peace, focus, and balance. It can train the brain to remain calm and focused, decrease impulsivity and anxiety while increasing mental flexibility. This can lead to success in school, sports, and even business.

NEUROFEEDBACK TRAINING IS DESIGNED TO HELP:

  • Improve focus, clarity and memory.

  • Reduce hyperactivity, anxiety and impulse decision making.

  • Decrease anxiety and/or depression symptoms.

  • Minimize noise, sound and texture distractions.

  • Provide a safe, medication-free solution that’s noninvasive.

Behavioral Consulting

The overall goal of behavioral consulting is to help individuals increase their effectiveness and happiness at school, work, and/or in a social setting. This is done through designing and implementing highly specific positive behavior support plans to reduce inappropriate behavior while enhancing skills to replace that behavior. Work may be done with a client directly or with the people who live and work with with the client such as family members. Services may include behavior plans, parent training, school-based consulting and much more.

The difference between behavioral consulting and psychotherapy is that in behavioral consulting, specific goals are defined, a behavior plan is created, data are collected and analyzed during each session and progress is carefully monitored in order to make changes in the plan as soon as possible.

Challenges addressed:

  • Sleep Issues

  • Eating Problems

  • Noncompliance

  • Aggression

  • Verbal Aggression

  • Self-Injury
